This 30 Day course guides you through 30 fun poses, laying foundations in the beginning and working our way up to some really fun poses that may be new or seemingly impossible. So don’t worry if some of the poses to come feel intimidating. Just do your best and listen to your own body to take the poses step by step, stopping in variations that feel most appropriate for you. It’s our hope that you’ll be able to revisit this course again and again, even after the initial 30 days, as your practice advances and you’ll be able to grow into the full expression of these poses along with us.
Why fun with yoga? Well, we know firsthand how easy it can be to find ourselves taking our yoga (and ourselves) so seriously that the joy gets drained right out of our efforts. “Why is joy so important?” you ask in a curmudgeonly tone. Well, grumpy pants, because we’ll never stick with anything that doesn’t bring us joy. And if we want to have healthy habits, like yoga, for the rest of our long and happy lives, we have to be sure we’re always seeking the fun in them. So, it is with this in mind that we intend to have some fun with these poses for the next 30 days, do the best variations we can, and learn a lot along the way.
