Description:
Parsvottanasana translates to Side Flank Pose but is often called Pyramid Pose. It's a foundational standing posture that helps to open strong hamstrings, tone the legs, balance the hips, and free the lower back. Kassandra gives us a detailed tutorial here, showing us both the traditional approach to the full pose, and how to use props to modify and gradually work our way into the pose. Enjoy!
