Let's Sip Some Juice!
1. Watch the video above for today's challenge exercise, juicing, and some tips about juicers if you don't already have one or are considering an upgrade to an old machine.
2. Get some fresh juice today! If you don't have a juicer, grab some FRESH juice from your local health store. But, if you do have a juicer, bust it out, dust it off, and get to juicing!

Top Tips For Juicing Beginners
Always thoroughly wash and prepare what you're juicing beforehand!
Cut your ingredients so they fit easily into your juicer.
Items that DO NOT go in your juicer: bananas, avocados, papaya, citrus rinds, seeds or pits.

Some Essential Recipes
Mean Green Juice Recipe by Joe Cross
INGREDIENTS:
2 cucumbers
8 celery stalks
4 apples
16 leaves kale with stalks
1 lemon
2 in (5 cm) piece of ginger
DIRECTIONS:
Wash all produce well.
Peel the lemon and core apple.
Add all ingredients through juicer and enjoy!
Servings: Makes 2 servings of 16-20 oz (500-600 ml)

Lemon Ginger Zinger by Jason Vale
INGREDIENTS:
2 carrots
2 apples
16 leaves kale with stalks
1 inch slice of lemon (rind free)
1/4 inch of ginger
ice
DIRECTIONS:
Simply juice all ingredients and pour over ice. This juice is rich in Vitamin C to keep your immune system healthy. The citric acid and ginger help eliminate toxins from the body and aid in digestion. Ginger also acts as a natural antibiotic and decongestant. This juice is also full of dietary fiber.
