Bridge pose is a foundational back bend that lays the groundwork for all our other back bends, and sets the stage for Shoulderstand, or Salamba Sarvangasana. The single leg variation of this pose is excellent for balancing and setting the sacrum and relieving compression in the lower back, while building strength and tone in our legs.
